Heb jij een assessmentacteur nodig?
Of het nou gaat om een selectie- of ontwikkelassessment, een acteur is het middel waarmee de kandidaat kan laten zien wat hij of zij in huis heeft. We selecteren acteurs waarvan wij weten: die hebben de juiste kennis van de zakelijke markt en spelervaring.
Acteurs met het juiste taalgebruik. Die de sfeer goed aanvoelen. En die nauwkeurige spelkeuzes hebben, scherp kunnen analyseren en achteraf inzichtelijke feedback kunnen geven.
Assessmentacteurs
Onze acteurs leveren gedrag op verschillende niveaus: inhoudelijk, procedureel en relationeel. Zo wordt blootgelegd of de kandidaat beschikt over de gevraagde competenties voor zijn huidige of toekomstige rol.
Wil je weten of de kandidate de juiste is? Heeft zij of hij de juiste kerncompetenties? Is hij of zij stressbestendig? Kan hij of zij overtuigen? Is zij of hij flexibel in gedrag? Of initiatiefrijk of besluitvaardig?

Ze sluiten aan bij de belevingswereld van de deelnemer. Ze maken het assessment zo realistisch mogelijk. Het spel is naturel, waardoor kandidaten snel het gevoel krijgen in een echt gesprek te zitten. Voor iedere rol is ander soort acteur nodig.

Verschil tussen trainings- en assessmentacteur.
Het verschil tussen een training en een assessment is dat er bij een assessment een beoordeling aan vast zit. Daarnaast is een assessment een één-op-één- situatie, zonder andere deelnemers. Alleen de adviseur of psycholoog kijkt toe. Ook bij assesments worden trainingsacteurs ingezet. De acteur speelt dan een case of opdracht uit de praktijk, zodat de competenties van de kandidaat beoordeeld kunnen worden.

Hoe gaat assessment-acteren in zijn werk?
Hoe het meestal gaat bij onze klant HR-adviesbureau Lagerweij:
De kandidaat krijgt een kwartier tot half uur de tijd om de casus te lezen en voor te bereiden. Deze casus is een situatie uit de praktijk die zorgvuldig staat beschreven.
De trainingsacteur maakt vaak eerst even kort kennis en komt even later weer binnen in zijn rol. Hij biedt gedrag aan waardoor de kandidaat de kans krijgt te laten zien hoe hij of zij daarmee omgaat. Anders gezegd: om te laten zien wat zijn of haar competenties zijn.
De beoordelaars, of ‘de assessoren’ krijgen door het spel met de acteur een beeld van de kandidaat. De trainingsacteur is dus een ’toetsingsinstrument’ in het assessment.
